West Nicolson Street Sewer Repair

We will be carrying out sewer repair works on West Nicolson Street in Edinburgh early in the new year.

Our team are due to begin on site on Monday 5 January 2026 and the works will be carried out with the archway access at No. 19 West Nicolson Street.

This work will involve replacing a short section of section. To allow the work to be completed safely, temporary traffic management in the form of a half road closure will be in place on West Nicolson Street.

A pedestrian diversion route will be in place to maintain access to the flats at the rear of the works, including access to the bike storage and the Mosque Kitchen.

We have been liaising with the City of Edinburgh Council and letters are being hand delivered to local residents and businesses.
