Arthur Street Glasgow Sewer Repairs

We are currently carrying out urgent sewer repair works on Arthur Street, Glasgow.

These repairs are required following a recent CCTV survey which identified a collapsed section of sewer at approximately 4.2 metres deep.

To allow the works to be completed safely, a full road closure of Arthur Street has been put in place.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.

Our team are currently carrying out excavation works to access the collapsed section of sewer. Once we have access to the pipeline, further CCTV inspections will be carried out and the findings will be reviewed to agree next steps.

At this stage it is not possible to confirm how long the repairs will take, as this will depend on the findings of the CCTV surveys.

We have been liaising with Glasgow City Council Roads team, as well as Yorkhill Housing Association, to make them aware of the urgent nature of the works.

Letters are being hand delivered to local residents to advise them of these essential emergency works and the traffic management arrangements.
