Annan Glade, Motherwell

Sewer upgrade
Annan Glade will periodically be closed during the works
We are upgrading the sewer network on Annan Glade in Motherwell.
These works, which involve the installation of a new chamber and upgrading of the sewer and storm water drainage lines, will ensure we can provide a resilient waste water service to our new and existing customers.
Work will start on Monday, 7 April and last approximately five weeks.
In order to complete the works safely, we will need to close Annan Glade during certain hours of the day.
A section of Annan Glade will be closed from 9.15am – 12pm, 1.30-2.45pm and 3.30-5.30pm Monday – Friday for the duration of the works.
A customer letter including a graphic showing the area of the road closure can be accessed below.
No weekend road closure is required and pedestrian access to properties and footpaths will remain in place.
We appreciate the road closures will cause some disruption for residents and road users but can only thank them for their patience and understanding while we carry out this work to maintain the local sewer network.
