David Dale

At this location:
We will be constructing a new Combined Sewer Outflow (CSO) and outfall.
Excess storm water will be safely diverted during extreme weather to prevent flooding homes and businesses. The waste water will be screened to protect the environment.
It is the second phase of a project to upgrade the sewer network which began in March 2023.
A new upgraded section of sewer pipe has been installed along David Dale Avenue, increasing the capacity of the local network making it less prone to overflowing.
Work on the new CSO and outfall is expected to begin in March 2025 and take approximately eight months to complete.

A new sewer was installed on David Dale Avenue in 2023

A CSO similar to this will be built to divert storm water
