Road Closure - Flatterton Road, Greenock, PA16 0QL

We would like to let customers and road users know that an emergency road closure will be in place from Thursday the 23rd of May 2024 on Flatterton Road, Greenock, in order to allow for a repair to be carried out on our waste water network.
The scale of the works requires sufficient space for safe and efficient operation, while maintaining pedestrian access on Flatterton Road. There will be a local diversion for cars/light vehicles via Jupiter Terrace and Braeside Gardens. A separate HGV diversion via A78 will be in place to accommodate heavy goods vehicles.
This work is necessary to find a permanent solution for a number of customers who have experienced ongoing issues with a sewer pipe and surface water pipe on Flatterton road.
We would reassure all impacted customers that we will work as quickly and safely as possible to minimise any inconvenience or disruption these works may cause.
