Road Closure in Argyle Place Edinburgh EH9

We have completed the excavation and installation of 26 meters of sewer pipe to alleviate flooding issues experienced by customers within the area.  

Despite initial challenges with existing underground utilities, the pipework replacement is now finished.  

We are now in the reinstatement phase and have extended the current notice until June 30th to complete the work required. This includes mono blocking on the carriageway, tar and slabbing work on the footpath, reinstalling removed bollards for emergency access, and site demobilisation. The following road restrictions will remain:  

- Argyle Park Terrace will be closed with pedestrian access maintained 

- Argyle Place to its junction with Melville Drive will have a lane closure, with no left turn 

Local access will remain for emergency vehicles only.  

We want to ensure that the site is returned to its previous state before it is reopened.
