Essential repairs
Neilston Road will be closed to all vehicles from the junction of Mary Street to the junction of Charleston Square
We are carrying out essential repairs to the sewer network which require a road closure in Paisley.
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, 19 May 2025 for approximately four weeks to repair a damaged sewer.
The B774 Neilston Road will be closed to all vehicles between the junction of Mary Street to the junction of Charleston Square. A clear timeframe for completion of the works will be available once initial investigations take place. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Traffic will be diverted via Rowan Street, returning to Neilston Road by Lochfield Road and vice versa. Drivers are advised to plan an alternative route to minimise any potential delays or disruptions, and to avoid using residential streets where possible to reduce the impact on residents.
We appreciate that the closure of this major route will cause some disruption for road users but can only thank them for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.
