project statys delivery

Project Overview

We are taking care of the water services on the Isle of Skye by investing £4million to upgrade 8km of water pipes in parts of Broadford, Harrapool, Skulamus, and Breakish to ensure customers continue to enjoy clear, fresh drinking water, and reduce the chance of pipes bursting.

The work commenced in August 2022 and is expected to last until Winter of 2024.

Our alliance partner, Caledonia Water Alliance, have appointed Global Infrastructure Services to carry out this work on our behalf.

Why are we doing this?

Due to a high number of burst pipes in the area, we are investing in the water services on the Isle of Skye to ensure our customers continue to enjoy clear, fresh drinking water, and reduce the chances of further issues on the network (such as burst pipes).
