Project Overview

Following on from our previous CCTV inspections of the sewer network in Stirling, we are now upgrading the sewer pipe in Laurelhill Place to help address flooding issues in the area.

A section of Laurelhill Place will be required to be closed to allow these upgrades to be carried out safely.

This work will be delivered by George Leslie.

What are we doing?

We will be removing a 50m section of the sewer in Laurelhill Place and replacing it with an upgraded, larger sewer that will increase the capacity of the network. This will help alleviate internal flooding experienced by properties on this street.

For the duration of these works a section of Laurelhill Place will be closed to all vehicles, along with a section of the footpath. Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained throughout the project.

The section of road shown will be closed to all vehicles, along with a section of the footpath. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.

When are we doing it?

Work will start on Monday 19th August and is expected to last for approximately 8 weeks.

We would ask that no vehicles are parked within the road closure area the night before work begins.

We would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential upgrade work.
