Kelvinside Terrace South - Sewer Upgrades
Road Traffic Management
Kelvinside Terrace South will be closed to all vehicles between Wilton Street and Doune Quadrant during these essential works.
We will be carrying out repairs to the sewer network on Kelvinside Terrace South to help protect the environment of Hillhead which will require a road closure.
The repairs are scheduled to begin on Monday 11 November, and will last at least three weeks.
Unfortunately, because of the size of the pipe and the depth it is buried – three metres – we have no option but to close part of the road to be able to carry out the work safely.
During this time Kelvinside Terrace South will be closed to all vehicles between Wilton Street and Doune Quadrant. Parking restrictions and traffic lights will be in place.
Pedestrian access to properties as well as footpaths will be maintained.
We appreciate the traffic management will cause some disruption for residents and road users but can only thank them in advance for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work to maintain the local sewer network.
