Essential Sewer Repair Works to begin in Mauchline
04 October 2024
Scottish Water is set to carry out essential sewer repair works on Earl Grey Street in Mauchline.
Work is scheduled to commence on Monday 7 October 2024 and is expected to be complete by Tuesday 15 October 2024. These repairs are part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the local sewer network.
To ensure the safety of both the public and workers, temporary four-way traffic lights and four pedestrian crossings will be in place at key intersections: Earl Grey Street, Kilmarnock Road, Loudoun Street, and High Street.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “We understand that the temporary traffic measures in place may cause some inconvenience, but they are necessary to ensure that the work can be carried out safely and efficiently.
“We would like to thank local residents and road users for their patience and understanding as we complete this importance maintenance.”
This work will be carried out by Scottish Water’s contractors Clancy.
