We have now completed upgrade works on our sewer network in the well-used Angus amenity, to help prevent future sewer bursts
“We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we delivered this key investment, which will significantly reduce the risk of future unplanned repairs being needed, as well as protecting the environment for many years to come”

Project Manager for Caledonia Water Alliance
Essential works have been completed on the sewer network within a popular Angus country park.
Scottish Water has renewed a key section of sewer at Forfar Loch Country Park following a number of bursts at the park in recent years. The works are aimed to resolve the issue, preventing any further impacts on the local community and environment.
Scottish Water contractor, Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA), carried out the work on behalf of the utility company during the 2022/23 winter months, in a bid to avoid disruption during the busier summer period.
John Townshend, CWA Project Manager said:
“We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we delivered this key investment, which will significantly reduce the risk of future unplanned repairs being needed, as well as protecting the environment for many years to come.”
Signage and fencing has been left up at the area of work, while Angus Council carry out final reinstatement and seeding work before the well-used amenity is completely returned to normal.
